Foreman Roberts specialists and highly experienced team have carried out Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis for major data centre projects.
The analysis work includes preparing in-depth models for all major mechanical and electrical plant and infrastructure for the various power and cooling operational contingencies. The modelling includes heat dissipation, examination of airflow for all critical areas, hot and cold aisle containments reviews and identification of potential hotspots within the data halls and external ambient temperature. This also includes the effect that the seasonal prevailing weather conditions may have on external plant supporting the critical systems’ loads.
This analysis assists in ensuring the operational design intent is met for the infrastructure. The modelling may also be used to validate operational performance and help identify gaps relative to design criterion during onsite commissioning load simulation and Integrated Systems Testing (IST).
