The Villa Marina, Isle of Man

The project comprised a multi-million pound refurbishment and extension of the existing concert hall to create a multi-purpose venue incorporating a cinema, concert hall, several function suites and children’s play area. The building the Royal Hall which seats 1500 people and includes conferencing, dining and bar facilities.

Engineering services for the Royal Hall included sound and light systems and a displacement ventilation system utilising the existing structure – sympathetic to the finishes of the Historic Hall. The function rooms, the cinema and the children’s play area are comfort cooled.
