Mayfield Manchester
The Mayfield development will deliver 14 acres of new public realm, including the city’s first new park in more than 100 years surrounding the banks of the River Medlock, as well as 1,500 new homes, 1.7m sq ft of office space, shops, a 650-bed hotel and a car park opposite Manchester Piccadilly Station.
The £1.4bn scheme, which is being brought forward by the Mayfield Partnership – a public-private venture comprising U+I, Manchester City Council, Transport for Greater Manchester and LCR – will also create more than 10,000 office, retail, leisure and construction jobs.
Foreman Roberts provided support to U+I for the development bid, master planning stage with input into the Strategic regeneration Framework and public consultation together with advice in respect of Energy & Sustainability.
