The Manor Road Building is occupied by several University departments and includes offices, lecture theatres, a library and restaurant. The building was designed by the Architect Normal Foster, is of concrete construction with a polished concrete finish to walls and soffits.

Foreman Roberts have been commissioned to design and project manage the provision of new lighting to the building.
The lighting installation will comprise LED luminaires with an intelligent lighting control system using presence, absence and daylight harvesting. The new luminaires and system need to compliment the existing building and minimise visual intrusion whilst being efficient to install using existing cable highway systems.
