The Shakespeare North Playhouse in Prescot, Merseyside, (modeled on the cockpit-in-court’ design popular during the Elizabethan era) will be one of the North of England’s most high profile cultural and educational assets. The development includes a 350 seat theatre, outdoor performance garden, exhibition, educational facilities and visitor centre. It is scheduled to open in 2022.
